Beryl is infamous for coining the term “power yoga” and her Power Yoga classes in New York (and workshops all over the country) were the first and original “power” yoga programme. Based on the ashtanga sequences, Beryl adapted the power practice for athletes of all sports, ages, and abilities.
Returning to triyoga for the first time in over 10 years, this weekend of workshops will include present power yoga (Beryl’s signature yoga style), meditation, pranayama and interactive discussion.
Some of the bigger questions such as “Why are you here” will be discussed alongside how we navigate the waters in these more turbulent times. From asana to meditation, Beryl will weave into the weekend why it is critical we practice, not just for ourselves, but for all of humanity as well.
This yoga intensive is open to practitioners and teachers of all levels of experience and is designed to inspire your practice and initiate you into the tribe of “spiritual revolutionaries”—an expanding field of dedicated yogis who are leading the way toward a global shift in consciousness.
Mornings will focus on “active practice”, moving, strengthening, and working with awareness. Afternoons will be “quiet practice”, focusing on meditation, the “big” questions, and lots of interactive discussion and most importantly fun.
