Join yoga pioneer and best-selling author, Beryl Bender, as she guides us through an 8-week course in mindfulness meditation at Greenhouse Yoga in Great Barrington. This practice is designed to train the mind in focus and concentration and to develop the ability to self-regulate and be more mindful and present with whatever we are doing, not just during meditation, but 24/7.
Based on principles from the Anapanasatti Sutra, an ancient Buddhist text, this program offers an accessible practice for quieting the mind, managing stress, gaining a greater awareness of the Self, and connecting us with the present moment — the only place we can ever be and where life is truly lived.
Dates: July 2, 9, 16, 23 and August 6, 13, 20, 27 from 7:00 am – 8:00 am in the studio.
