Beryl’s retreats at Omega (this is the 42nd consecutive year) are always an uplifting and inspirational experience. Students of all ages and abilities gather from all parts of the planet to celebrate life and reboot their health, their practice, and their commitment to yoga and meditation. If you need support and motivation or simply need to “get away” for 5 days in the country with a happy group of bad assed folks working on themselves to evolve and become kinder and more conscious, then this is where you need to be this summer.

Lots of natural movement (walking, dancing, breathing, and yoga), good sleep, healthy food (organic plant based eating), community, and daily work on learning to down regulate, to be present, and to realize that every moment is a choice, and that you can learn to choose peace and happiness over suffering – all are a part of this wonderful week.

The practice of mindfulness is present in all you do – 24/7.  From early morning guided meditations, breakfast, and asana practice, to afternoons of walking meditation, moving, breathing, talking, napping, resting and discussion, your work is to be present, connected, and clear in all you do. Whether you are a beginner hoping to use meditation for relaxation or to manage stress, or a more advanced practitioner searching for lasting happiness and liberation, the mindfulness practice of vipassana (based on the classical teachings of Theravada Buddhism, the oldest school of Buddhism) will add clarity, equanimity and joy to your life.
