
This September, Beryl Bender, author, activist, and philosopher, returns to Heartsong Yoga, bringing her practices, wisdom, and inspiration to our community once again. An internationally renowned yoga teacher, and dear friend and treasured mentor to Heartsong, Beryl has been practicing yoga and meditation since l971and in l974 she traveled to India for half a year with her teacher, Jain monk Munishree Chitrabhanu, to study Jain and Buddhist meditation. In addition to leading yoga and meditation retreats around the world (Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Cuba) she is also the co-founder of the Give Back Yoga Foundation.
