We’re finally going to Spain!
For two years I searched for a retreat location in Spain, checking out city after city and asking everyone I knew who had been to Spain,”Where should we go?”
My friend and yoga buddy, Adam Keen (Keen on Yoga podcast) turned me on to Santillan Yoga and Wellness Retreat. It is almost impossible to get into. But with a year of prayer and perseverance, I managed to book a solid week in May of 2025.
Santillan is an expansive Andalucian cortijo (look it up) with glorious tropical gardens and surrounding hills. It sits high atop a gorgeous countryside valley, 5 kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea and only 35 minutes from the Malaga airport.
Wonderful smells, sights, walking, hiking, sound baths, therapies, and outdoor and indoor pools, a salt-water pool, 3 beautiful yoga studios and 20 ensuite bedrooms. And, of course, a daily schedule of our very own Present Power and Foundation Training practices with Beryl and Ellen, and early morning meditations in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable.
We will embark on a couple off site adventures, including Granada, one of the most charming cities in Europe and home to the Alhambra, the famous Moorish palace and fortress that sits in the center of the city.
You all know how rad I am about plant based, healthy eating and clean food. Santillan’s Mediterranean, vegetarian, and vegan meals are based on organic produce grown under the Spanish sun, from their own gardens and local farmers. Wow!! Beryl is sold!
LODGING:
Santillán has 20 spacious en-suite bedrooms, massage and therapy spaces, a professional kitchen, four dining areas, numerous walking routes, and a paddle tennis court.
For relaxation time our extensive gardens and salt-water pool area offer many spaces to enjoy a nap, nature, the sun, company, or a good book, and wonderful star-gazing at night due to the reduced light in our countryside location.

Ground Floor with balcony & sea view (2 twin beds or queen bed): $2875 per person, single occupancy | $2375 per person, double occupancy

Not included in Package pricing: transportation, excursions, activities and spa services, specialty drinks, and phone calls. Staff tips are not included; $8-12 suggested per person per day. Incidental expenses incurred during the retreat will be payable at the end of the retreat.
Cancellation Policy
NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $500 REQUIRED TO REGISTER.
Full payment is required by NOVEMBER 1, 2024. Refunds are available up to October 31, 2024, (less the non-refundable deposit of $500 + $250 administrative fee).
There are no refunds after October 31, 2024 as our retreat facility requires full payment in advance and offer no refunds after 6 months prior to 1st day of the reservations.
Travel insurance is recommended.
